Findings

A. Radiograph of shoulder joint shows suspicious depression fracture of the posterosuperolateral aspect of the humeral head.
B. Axial PDFS hyperintense MRI confirms Hill-Sachs lesion as evidenced by depression fracture in the posterosuperolateral aspect of the humeral head.
C. Tear of the anteroinferior glenoid labrum is noted with underlying bony defect suggestive of bony Bankart’s lesion.
D. Complete thickness defect of the supraspinatus tendon is noted.

Diagnosis

Complete thickness tear of supraspinatus tendon in case of anterior shoulder dislocation in elderly patient.

Summary

Rotator cuff tears are common associations when shoulder dislocation occurs in mid-elderly age group and should always be looked for in this age-group.
