58 year old male patient with urinary hesitancy

Findings
Dilatation of the right seminal vesicle is observed with T2 hyperintensity(top-left image). Prostatomegaly with multiple nodules in the transition zone – benign prostatic hyperplasia(top-right image). The dilated right seminal vesicle shows T1 hyperintense contents suggestive of high protein component(bottom-left image). The right vas deferens is also dilated and shows signal similar to right seminal vesicle.
Diagnosis
Cystic dilatation of the right seminal vesicle due to benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Summary
Downstream obstruction of the seminal vesicle in congenital and acquired conditions result in cystic dilatation. It should be looked for in cases of prostatomegaly.
