Littre hernia
Summary
Littre hernias are hernias containing Meckel diverticulum and are usually associated with inguinal or femoral hernias. Littre hernia is a rare complication of Meckel diverticulum. Herniation of Meckel diverticulum into umbilical orifice is rare. Management includes repair of hernial defect and resection of complicated Meckel diverticulum. Uncomplicated Meckel diverticulum can be left alone.
